Leadership giving

United Way of Blount County recognizes individuals and households who make gifts of $1,000 or more to United Way of Blount County. These are local philanthropic leaders and volunteer champions who have devoted time, talent, and funds to create long-lasting changes by tackling the most serious issues of our community.

The Pillars Society

The Pillars Society, which began in 1985, is made up of three giving levels that include The Bronze Level ($1,000 –   $2,499), The Silver Level ($2,500 – $4,999), The Gold Level ($5,000 – $9,999).

The Alexis De Tocqueville Society

The Alexis de Tocqueville Society was formed in 1997 to deepen individual understanding of, commitment to, and support the work of United Way. Membership in the Tocqueville Society is granted to individuals who contribute at least $10,000.00 annually to United Way of Blount County.

When speaking to your financial advisor, there are already several options for making a lasting gift to United Way:

 

United Way Of Blount County Community Impact Fund

Gifts to this fund are distributed yearly to social service programs benefiting Blount County. Local volunteers annually research and audit the programs to determine that donor funds are being used responsibly.

United Way Of Blount County Future Fund

Gifts made to this fund grow over time, while utilizing the interest to continue the work of United Way of Blount County.
